Thank you to the over 100 people who attended both parts of the Springfield 2051 Think-Tank! This scenario-based workshop was a key step in the Springfield 2051 process. A range of plausible future scenarios were developed at the Think-Tank to act as a testing ground to assess resilience and consequences for the future of Springfield.

We have held over 50 community engagement sessions across Springfield and Clark County, since the Springfield 2051 Think-Tank held in mid-September. This included over 750 participants who showed up and gave us their thoughts in these in-person session. We have just concluded our November Community Visioning Sessions, which were held November 17 through November 20. Stay tuned for more details on the Springfield 2051 Community Summit on Wednesday, January 28.
In October 2025, Marta Wojcik, member of the Springfield 2051 Steering Committee, sat down with Kevin Rose (Turner Foundation) and David Beurle (Future iQ) to discuss the exciting community-building project: Springfield 2051.
Springfield 2051 is a community building process that will result in a new roadmap for Springfield and Clark County. The 15-month project is being spearheaded by a coalition of citizens and supported by the state and local government, philanthropic entities, business community and non-profit organisations. Springfield 2051 is guided by the expert team of Future iQ and is rooted in their people-focused, data-driven and future-orientated methodology.
