Key to the success of the Springfield 2051 process is consistent, wide and deep community involvement throughout the 15 month process.

Community engagement includes:

  • Springfield 2051 Public Kick Off – June 2025
  • Community Listening Sessions – August and September 2025
  • Springfield 2051 Future Think-Tank – September 2025
  • Community Survey #1 – September and October 2025
  • Community Visioning Sessions – October and November 2025
  • Strategic Pillar Stakeholder Roundtable Session – January 2026
  • Community Future Summit – January 2026
  • Focus Groups – February 2026
